Agnus was a knowledgable guide who plotted a thoughtful course through Sydney. The tour had a natural flow that took us through the colonial history of the city, interspersed with exposure to and discussions about arts and culture, flora and fauna, and politics and current events. I enjoyed the stops in library and museum lobbies visually enhancing the talk with maps from through the ages. The pacing was well thought out with a coffee break in the beautiful botanical garden and a beer after spectacular views of Sydney Harbor bridge and Opera House. Agnus' passion for history and storytelling were evident from the start. His knowledge of not only Australian history but world history helped color the tour. I highly recommend that visitors to Sydney consider spending a few illuminating hours on this tour...you might even want to bring along any local Aussies you know as everyone is sure to learn something.
